What is Jamit News?
Jamit News is an independent business news network that reports on vertical industry and company business news. We syndicate our news stories through broadband and cable outlets. Jamit News never accepts payments to do a news story. As a new-media company we are changing the way business news is used, seen, and heard. Together, with our syndication parters we are creating a revolution in business news.

How are you like the Associated Press?
Like the AP we create news stories and syndicate them to third party publishers and carrier oulets.
Can we pay for a story on our company?
Absolutely not. We never take money for a story. Like other news networks we produce news for our syndication partners and viewers. We’re able to be the only network that reports on a large volume of companies because we hold down costs through our proprietary platform. We primarily make money from syndication and advertising.

Where are your news report broadcast?
Currently we bundle our news reports and syndicate them to carriers, social media outlets, vertical blogs. Because they are bundled, at this time we have no way of knowing exactly which reports were used or how often they were used. We hope to have that information available soon with a new system under development. Also, as an independent news network we are selective about certain data and only share some information with our advertisers.
Can I use a video clip of a Jamit News report I purchased from a media monitoring company?
No. If you have received a copy of a Jamit News report from another source or directly from a TV, iTV, Cable, Satellite, Podcast or Radio Carrier you do not have a license to use the video. Just like CNBC, the Wall Street Journal and most other media outlets a license to use one of our news reports can be only be acquired through the purchase of a reprint for a nominal fee in our case.
How is the Jamit News network redefining news.
As the world moves digital we believe video broadcast business news should not predominately cover the same giant public companies you see on traditional business news. Our goal is to report on more growth company news then is traditionally covered by other media outlets. Additionally, we are developing unique technologies which will give our viewers the ability to engage directly with companies covered in our news reports.

What is your blog about?
We call it Jam+This. It is an online resource for the latest trends and technology in News + PR + iTV. The Jam is where we revolutionize business news. And Jam+This is where we share everything we know.
Who decided what stories you cover?
Jamit News is a news organization just like CNN or the Wall Street Journal. Our news desk determines all stories that we produce.
What does it cost us to submit a news story?
Nothing, it’s free. We understand that we are the first online broadcast news network to do a story on most companies. Many associate the word video with cost. That’s why we’re reinventing business news — we never take a payment to do a news story.
What should we submit with a news story?
The minimum is a write-up (press release, announcement or sample story) and a logo. It would help if you also included pictures (clearly describe who/what is in the picture. “B-roll” video would also be nice but is not required. The more a video is thought out or edited together to make our life easier – the better. The best thing is to think like a journalist and put a whole story together and a nice neat folder the way you would want to receive it.
What is the TV Channel Platform?
When we do a news report and a company wants a reprint of that story we give it to them in their own Video News Content Management System. There they can store videos, manage them, tag them for SEO, create embed codes, create channels and playlists, and look at video analytics. We even allow them to upload their other PR or marketing videos into TV Channel. It’s really cool and a powerful tool for any company that wants to take their PR to the next level.
Are there any charges for the TV Channel Platform?
The Platform is free. We realize that you may want to add other news videos, interviews, or your own internal videos to your custom video news management system. We give you 1 gig of management/delivery to start with. There are two small nominal charge if you exceed this amount. They are completely optional and at your discretion to order them from the system. The first is the storage or management costs for videos. The second is if you choose to stream/deliver your video.
Can I edit a Jam news report?
No. In order to preserve their editorial integrity you are not given a license to edit one of our video news reports. If you have a special request you would like us to consider, please contact reprints@JamitNews.com.
I have no problem seeing the Jamit News Video reports on the Jamit News site but my embedded videos are not working on my own site. Any ideas?
The problem is usually that the link or embed code are not formatted properly. Many times if you email the link some internal mail systems modify links. Easiest solution is to paste the link into a plain text file (not Microsoft word) and send it that way. If the problem persists you should fax the link or verbally confirm it with the person working on your website.
I’m having problems streaming the videos from the Jamit News site. What’s the problem?
The usual problem is that your corporate firewall is not allowing streaming through. Work with your IT department to open the streaming ports. In today’s world it’s critical that you see video.
